Escapia Rolls Out Powerful New Vacation Rental Software Features
SEATTLE – July 18, 2005 – Escapia, Inc., developers of the most technologically advanced, web-based on-demand software in the fast growing professional vacation rental management market, today announced the immediate availability of one of the largest software updates in the company's history. With over a hundred new features, this latest version adds support for travel insurance, improved credit card processing support, new reservation types including travel agent and long term, more reports, more correspondence templates, better performance and much more.
A key set of features in this latest update includes an interface to operations data from Buehner-Fry, Inc. (BFI), Bend, Ore. Using Escapia's software, customers can now take advantage of three Escapia/BFI features. One allows customers to remotely view the temperature in any vacation property outfitted with BFI's Energy Sentinel technology. The second feature allows housekeepers to update the housekeeping status of a vacation property via the telephone keypad, which is then automatically indicated in the Escapia software. Finally, joint customers will no longer have to enter unit information in both systems - simply enter the information in Escapia's software and BFI's software will be updated as well.
"This latest version represents our 25th update to the Escapia Vacation Rental Suite software," stated Chris C. Kemp, co-founder, president and CEO of Escapia. "Our primary focus is to constantly and rapidly improve our software and provide our customers with the tools they need to be successful. Historically, vacation rental companies were required to buy, build, and maintain expensive software and IT infrastructures. Now vacation rental companies can subscribe to the services they need - built on world-class infrastructure via the Internet."
Escapia's on-demand software is delivered via the internet so customers are not required to install, download, configure or do anything other than login to take advantage of the new features.
