Escapia Housekeeping

The housekeeping management capabilities of EscapiaONE enable you to be more efficient and provide a higher quality experience for your guests. Fully integrated within the Escapia back-office software, Escapia Housekeeping provides a simple, easy-to-master interface for selecting the housekeeper, the property to be cleaned, and the type of cleaning.

Each property can be setup with a default housekeeper. However, the housekeeping management screen (shown on the right) allows the manager to override that default setting and manually select any housekeeper from the database.

The current housekeeping status of each property is viewable from the housekeeping management screen, as well as from several reports. When a unit is clean, the status automatically changes to ‘not clean’ whenever a guest is checked into the property. Upon checkout, the status can be manually changed back to ‘clean’ upon notification by the housekeeper.

Thanks to Escapia's technology partnership with NAVIS, notification by the housekeeper can be automated. When the property is equipped with NAVIS's Operations Management System (OMS), all the housekeeper needs to do after cleaning the property is pickup the telephone and touch a pre-defined sequence of numbers on the keypad (for example, *32). This will then automatically update the status of that property in the Escapia software to Clean.

Escapia Housekeeping also provides a Daily Housekeeping Report, Arrival/Departure Report, and Status Report - each exportable to Microsoft Excel. Various criteria can be selected to create the reports, such as the date range, housekeeper, location and office.
